Freedom to Operate
Your path to internationalisation
The matter of property rights and IP strategy is often not assigned the necessary attention when internationalisation strategies are applied. A freedom-to-operate analysis enables your enterprise to detect possible property rights, which could make the way to internationalisation more difficult or even prevent it. This analysis, which confirms an enterprise’s freedom to operate within a country, also provides the necessary foundation for potential implementation strategies. Austria Wirtschaftsservice (aws) will also support you financially in the generation of a freedom-to-operate analysis with the new funding programme aws TECINT.
There were 131 participants at the NCP-IP online event, Freedom to Operate – their path to internationalisation of the Austria Wirtschaftsservice on 2 December. Alongside Prof. Nils Heide, Partner at the Kanzlei Gleiss & Große Intellectual Property, Stuttgart, interested parties discussed their internationalisation procedure with a focus on intellectual property.
