Energie Steiermark is launching the “i²Storage” Challenge to identify forward-looking energy storage solutions. The focus is particularly on systems that can be easily integrated, are modularly scalable, and respond to market and grid requirements through intelligent control.
In addition to technical performance, sustainability, open interfaces and cost-effective operation also play a key role. Submissions are open until May 2026 – the best solutions will then be incorporated into an innovation dialogue.
