Key areas of interest include:
- Virtual skin and hand technology
- Environmental sensing using camera systems, radar, microphones, and similar technologies
- Feedback mechanisms with laser beam scanners
- Novel motor control technology for robot movement
Applications are open until May 27th, 2026. 24 innovative startups will be pre-selected to pitch their ideas in public at the Silicon Saxony Days in Dresden on June 17th, 2026. From these, 12 startups will be chosen to participate in the challenge.
These startups will receive technical support by Infineon, Würth Elektronik and Rutronik and benefit from a summer school that includes business coaching and both online and onsite pitch training from our ecosystem partners. This preparation will culminate in a Demo Day at the EBSCON in Graz on October 6th, 2026, where startups will have the chance to pitch in front of investors and partners from the electronic industry and startup ecosystem.
