With Green.IP, the aws offers a special funding programme with funds from the BMK to secure technologies or innovations that contribute to the achievement of climate and environmentally relevant goals with an innovation protection strategy.
An innovation protection strategy comprises a bundle of industrial property protection instruments that are derived from a company's business model. The strategy is developed in line with the requirements of the subsidised companies (depending on the age and size of the company, sector and field of technology). Grants of up to EUR 100,000 can be awarded for the implementation of the innovation protection strategy (50% of eligible costs). Eligible measures may include the application for registered IP rights (patents, designs, trademarks), the establishment of IP management processes, the creation of an IP management position, the defence and enforcement of existing IP rights or the transfer of IP rights.
